Best Season for Peaky Peak Hike
The best season for wandering Peaky Peak Trek is during Spring, Autumn and Winter seasons. Due to less rainfall and warm weather these seasons host perfect timing for the hike around Peaky Peak. During this period of time, the visibility is good and the walking routes are also less muddy. The rhododendron trees, especially in the spring season, blossom and make the forest colorful and worth wandering around. The blue sky and the colorful grounds make your journey more exciting during this period.
In Nepal, Autumn (September, October and November) is a post harvest season thereby offering the views of agricultural lands with green crops and offering the views of local Sherpa people involved in their field. Also, you will see herds of cattles grazing around the green grassland alongside the trekking routes. You will enjoy mountains, rhododendron forests and yaks all along the Peaky Peak Hike.
People travel to Peaky Peak also during the winter season. Trekkers are suggested to prepare well before trekking to withstand the cold temperature during the cold period. Basic preparations like collection of proper clothes and need to explore tea houses on the way to drink tea, eat proper food and get themselves warm and fit.
We do not recommend trekking during the rainy season because of the rainfall. The trails become more slippery, and muddy making trekkers uncomfortable to walk. A real taste of walking is hardly available if it rains the whole day during your hike around the Peaky Peak region.
